The dispute involves a $159 debt owed by Chenowith to Eichelberger and secured by Chenowith's slave, Nicholas.  Chenowith contends that he has repaid the debt, but Eichelberger continues to employ the slave as a miller and will not return him.  Chenowith originally petitioned that the case be heard in Chancery Court.
