Abstract
Benjamin Hancock, administrator of the estate of the late Nicholas Phillips, asks the court's permission to sell Jacob, a term slave in the estate. Hancock believes "it would be more advantagious to the Estate of the said deceased to dispose of the said Negro for the residue of the time for which he the said Negro Jacob is to serve."
