- Court: Orphans
- Salutation: To the Worshipful Justices of the orphans Court of Anne Arundel County
Abstract
The petitioners, heirs to the disputed last will and testament of John Whittington, claim that this will, dated 8 July 1817, is in fact valid and should be admitted to probate. They ask that those who are contesting the will be made defendants and be summoned to court to answer their claim. The transcript of the court proceedings reveal that a second will of John Whittington, dated 31 August 1817, is also in dispute.
