Petition #20982103

Abstract

Robert Johnston and Maria Johnston, executors of the will of the late Christopher Johnston, ask the court to revoke its previous order directing them to sell a male slave named Collins. They explain that Collins has been "specially devised" in the will and his sale is not necessary to pay the estate's debts. Instead, they request special permission to sell shares of stock in three different companies and a pew in the First Presbyterian Church.
