- Anne Arundel County, Maryland. January 10, 1832. - July 16, 1833.
- Court: Orphans
- Salutation: To the Justices of the Orphan's Court of Anne Arundel County
Abstract
Benjamin H. Mulliken assigned to William Guynn a large claim against George Howard of Brice, now deceased. Howard's administrator Roderick Dorsey paid part of the claim, and on 22 February 1827, conducted an auction of Howard's personal estate. Now Guynn charges that Dorsey has neither accounted properly for the proceeds of the sale nor paid the balance on the debt. Guynn asks the court to order Dorsey to report on the sale and to settle his claim.
Result: Partially granted; denied; appealed; reversed and remanded; affirmed.
