Abstract

The administrators of the estate of the late Joshua German ask to sell at a private sale a slave named Sam Bush. They claim that he is an expense to the estate and they want to seek "the most money he will bring." They add that they fear Sam will run away, so they "have been compelled to lodge him in Slatter's Jail."
