Ann Jackson, a free woman of color and daughter of the late James Warner, urges the court to deny Ann Warner, the widow of James Warner, letters of administration on her father's estate. Ann Jackson claims that Ann Warner is a woman of "dissipated habits" and that she had been separated from her husband for twelve years. Jackson's unnamed husband joins her as a petitioner.
