John J. Hughes and Frederick Stone, administrators of the estate of John Hughes, state that in an earlier case the court "ordered & Decreed that an account should be taken ... of all the assets of the said John Hughes" and all of Hughes's creditors "should file claims." The petitioners explain that there are several new claims "pending on the Law side ... against your petitioners as administrators." They ask the court to issue an injunction against all the recent claimants and to allow only the original claimants, Ignatius Pike and Alexander Penn, to be heard in this matter.
