Thomas Baldwin informs the court that his slave named Robert Peoman, whose term of service expires when Peoman reaches thirty-one years of age, has run away for the second time. Baldwin explains that he successfully petitioned the court to extend Peoman's term of service once before; he again asks the court to extend the slave's term of service as compensation for his losses.
