Abstract
Noah Clark, guardian of Henry Gaither, a free person of color, states that Gaither is the owner of "a small place of 26 acres with very indifferent fencing" and that if the fence is not repaired the property will soon be worthless. Clark asks permission to sell an old barn and use the proceeds to purchase rails to repair the fence.
