Thomas Legins petitions the court for permission to sell his term slaves named Andrew and Jerry in accordance with the governor's pardon of the two slaves. Andrew and Jerry spent three years in jail for burglary, but were pardoned because keeping them in jail was determined to be a burden to the county taxpayers. They were released to Legins's custody on the condition that they would be sold out of the state and their terms of service extended.
