Abstract
Michael Moan alleges that his twelve-year-old term slave named William Jones is "a boy of bad character having been guilty of stealing and running away on Several occasions." In order to recoup his "considerable trouble and expense," Moan asks the court to extend Jones's term of service and to grant him permission to sell Jones out of the state.
