Abstract
"Your Petitioner respectfully represents to your Honors that negro Charles the property of my son and ward Robert F Crisp has behaved so bad and unruly that She thinks it would be unsafe to keep him indeed she considers it her duty to sell him he the said Charles has recently made an attack on a white boy and cut him with a hatchet and she has reason to believe he will run off She therefore prays your honors to authorise her to sell the said negro Boy."
