Abstract

William and Charity Brashears, free people of color, state that Isaac and Eliza Borsly, were taken from their custody, "where they had been with the consent of their mother," Anne Borsly, and bound to James Allen. The Brashearses ask that the indenture be annulled and that the children be returned to their custody.
