Abstract

Trotter, administrator of Jane Jackson's estate, estimates that "his intestate died seized and possessed of several negroes, stock of cattle, horse and mule, hogs and farming implements and household furniture, all of which amount, in value to about the sum of $2680." He further states that "the debts due by said deceased amount, in the aggregate, to about the sum of seventeen or eighteen hundred dollars."
