Elizabeth Majors, administratrix of the John H. Majors estate, asks permission to sell the property of the estate to pay its debts. Majors maintains that "the perishable property and crop of cotton will not pay the indebtedness of the Estate without the sale of said negro man." She therefore prays "for an order to sell the property belonging to said Estate and said negro man Ellick."
