Yancy established a slave-trading firm.  According to Absalom, they bought \"a great many slaves either for cash or on credit,\" spending a total of \"twenty thousand Dollars or some other large sum,\" all of this using his money.  He claims that Jackson took the blacks to South Carolina and Georgia, and sold many of them.
