Edwin S. Sanders, along with the defendants Sarah E. and Lawretta W. Sanders, are tenants in common of fifty-seven slaves, including thirty-eight adults and nineteen children. The defendants are minors represented by their guardian. Edwin Sanders requests that the minors appear in court and that the court order a division of the slave property into three equal shares.
