Abstract

Nancy Hanes charges her husband with assault and infidelity. On one occasion, he stripped her naked and whipped her with switches; on another he threw a chair at her; and on a third he beat her with his fist. He also engaged in "illicit intercourse with several lewd women residing in his vicinity." She asks for a divorce and alimony.
