James Alston Bunch and A. Chaton D. Bunch, "the natural children of Sealah Bunch," request that their uncle, Andrew Bunch, be "appointed the guardian of their persons & estates." The minors inform the court that their mother executed "a deed of gift" on 13 August 1800 and "gave your petitioners four negroes ... & about fifteen head of cattle." The petitioners therefore pray that Andrew Bunch be appointed their guardian and "that your Honors will be pleased to make such order in the premises as to your Honors shall seem meet."
