Abstract
The heirs of the late David Shelton seek a partition of Shelton's estate according to the provisions of his will. When Shelton died, he left a detailed will in which he bequeathed twenty-one slaves to his wife, Lucy Shelton, and various land and other slaves to his other heirs. Thomas and William Shelton, the executors of Shelton's will, are reluctant to divide the estate without a court decree. The petitioners ask the court to compel the executors to divide and distribute said estate.
