The heirs of John Eigleberger seek an injunction to prevent the sheriff from selling four slaves to satisfy judgments against Eigleberger's son-in-law, John Kibler Jr. Eigleberger's sons, John Jr. and George, executed his will which bequeathed four slaves to his daughter, Anna Mary Kibler. They complain, however, that John Kibler "has run through his own property" and is now insolvent. John Suber & Co. has won a judgment against Kibler, and the sheriff threatens to seize and sell Anna Mary's inheritance in order to satisfy the debt. The petitioners also report that John Eigleberger Jr. purchased some of the land in his father's estate, and they ask that the sale be confirmed.
