Abstract
The heirs of William Leadingham [Ledingham] Sr. ask the court for a partition of the estate. They inform the court that William Leadingham Sr. died on 6 March 1826, leaving "a considerable estate." The petitioners assert that Leadingham's will bequeathed them "all his Slaves, Horses & Mules." Being "desirous of having partition made among them of the property above mentioned," they ask the court to appoint commissioners to divide the estate between the heirs.
