Martha Wynn, the widow of Robert J. Wynn, and her three adult children ask the court to permit the partition of her late husband's property. The petitioners state that the said Robert died in 1861, leaving an estate that included 1657 acres of land and eight slaves to his wife and seven children. The Wynns attest that they are desirous that said estate be divided among the heirs; however, as four of said heirs are minors, the court must sanction said partition. They therefore pray that the court will issue a writ of partition directing the division of said estate.
