The petitioner understands that the slaves \"have already been attached in four several suits,\" but is still \"desirous of enforcing his said debt & of subjecting said slaves to the satisfaction thereof.\"  He notes that Mahone is a resident of Alabama, \"so that the ordinary process of law in Tennessee cannot be run against him.\"","subjects":[{"subject":"Absentee owners"}]}]}
