The minor son of the late William Calmes asks for a share of his father's estate. His father owned "Land Slaves, Money Debts, Stocks of Horses Cattle Sheep and Hogs, Household and Kitchen Furniture, and Farming Utencils to a very large amount." The son applied in a friendly manner to the defendants for "his just proportion" of the estate, but they "have converted the same to their own use, or retained the same in their hands and refuse to render any account thereof."
Result: Granted.
