Anna and Matilda Moore, daughter and granddaughter of the late William Moore, seek an accounting of "the profits heretofore ensued to them upon the property bequeathed to them" by Moore's will. They argue that Moore's executors have "wholly deprived" them of the "Benefit of the bounty" of their ancestor's estate. The "withheld" property includes "the use of two negro Slaves Bob and Dick," who were bequeathed to them as long as they remained "single & unmarried." In addition, Anna alleges that she has not received a slave named Tom and that Moore's will made no disposition of "a negro woman named Aggy, a crop of Tobacco, and sundry other articles of personal property."
