Thomas B. Dyer asks the court for permission to receive property belonging to Henry Stultz, John Stultz, Eliza Stultz, and Harriet Stultz, children of the late David Stultz, a slave owner. Formerly residents of Virginia, the children have moved with their mother to Missouri. Dyer has been chosen by the Calloway County Court in Missouri as their guardian. For reasons of convenience, Dyer asks that the Virginia court authorize him to hold the slaves and money for the Stultz children.
