Abstract
Alexander Ferguson seeks to sell “a Tract of 150 acres of land ... and five slaves towit Matilda & her four children Lucy Silvia Beck & Lucy” that his father, the late Otey Ferguson, held in his lifetime. The petitioner therefore prays “your worships to decree a sale of the Land & slaves ... and divide the proceeds thereof among your orator and the other distributees of the said Otey Ferguson.”
