Abstract

"Your orator W. D. Gilkeson respectfully shows That a certain Robt. W Baker formerly a resident of the county new lives somewhere in the far south & beyond the limits of virginia That he went away indebted to your orator $313.79 by open account the particulars of which will be seen in the bill file herewith as Dff exhibit A. The said RW Baker left with in this county & neighborhood where they still remain, a negro woman named Hannah, a negro boy named Charles, a brown mare a brown calf 2 saddles & bridles a washstand, looking glass & sundry other property which a few days before his removal he conveyed in trust to John Gilkeson Sr the previous mentioned in the trust Deed now filed herewith as Dff exhibit B. Your orator states & believes that no part of sd property will be required & answer the purposes of sd trust or at part that there may be a surplus subject to this his attachment. He prays therefore that said Robert W Baker & John Gilkeson may be made Defendants that the said slaves & other trust property with any other goods monies or effects of said Robt W Baker found within the jurisdiction of the court may be attached & subjected to the payment of your orators Debt & that all other proper relief be afforded."
