Abstract

Bill of sale was recorded on 30 March 1812. "Thomas A. If Thomas Brooke pays the note, the bill of sale is null and void, but is to remain in full force if the note is not paid on or before 19 September 1812. Signed by Thomas A. Brooke. At the end is the following document: ""I hereby bind myself and heirs to exonerate Francis Newman, Esq. as indorser [endorser] of Thomas A. Brooke's note, referred to herein. Witness my hand and seal this 19th day of March 1812."" Signed by A. Scott."
