Joseph Jackson of Washington Co. in the District of Columbia for "divers good causes" and a consideration of $5.00, frees three Negroes: Ned from and after 10 March 1813; Bet from and after 10 February 1821; and Nathan Allen from and after 8 January 1828. After these dates they are to be free. Signed on 30 April 1808 by Joseph Jackson. In the left margin of the handwritten Liber the following is written: "Ex'd [Examined] and Del'd [Delivered] Negro Ned March 1 I th 1813"
