Abstract

Bill of sale was recorded on 5 May 1809. Esther Richardson of Washington City in the District of Columbia in consideration of"the natural love and affection which I have and bear unto my children Judson, Tracy and Allison Richardson," gives them a Negro girl named Charlotte age about 10 years, three feather beds and bedding, a milk cow, and all "my household stuff and personal estate; reserving to myself the right to hold the same during my natural lifetime." Signed on 19 April 1809 by Esther Richardson by making an "X."
