Abstract

H.P. Grinell was in debt to N.A. Strange, deceased, for $162. Grinell sold Sue a 12 year old negro girl for $1 to J.H. Bryson to hold as collateral for Grinell to repay George W. Hayes who indemnified Grinell while he appeals his case for this debt.
