Know all men by these presents that I Samuel Fulton Senior of the County of Guilford in the State of North Carolina have bargained and Sold and do by these presents for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars and fifty dollars to me in hand paid the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained and sold and by these presents doth Sell deem and confirm unto Samuel Fulton Junior all my right, title, interest claim and property of one certain Negro boy slave for life aged about one year old in March. Next named Isaac to have and to hold the aforesaid Negro boy a slave for life named Isaac to the aforesaid Samuel Fulton Junior his heirs and assigns forever free and clear of all incumbrances in the witness whereof the Stated Samuel Fulton Senior hath hereunto set my hand and Seal this 18th day of January A.D. 1813 N.B. the Stated Samuel Fulton Senior reserve, a right to hold the stated negro boy Isaac slave for life in his possession and his heirs.
