Abstract

Deed of Trust. Thomas Bean and Mumford Bean have three outstanding debts, totaling about $500. To protect their securities Thomas and Mumford Bean place in Trust with Griffin and Robinson their interest in two tracts of land inherited from Benjamin Bean and “…also the widow Nancy Bean’s dower right [to the land] which has been deeded to Thomas Bean, three negroes, one man named John, two women Milly and Polly and their increase…” The document was signed February 13, 1828, presented in Court February 1829 and registered April 4, 1829.
