Williams sells to Amanda Williams and her heirs for $1, “my right and title on and to the land and slaves described in to the land & negroes & other property named and described in the written deed witnesseth my hand and seal this 24th March 1853.” The enslaved are not named—see NC.WIL.R.323.1. Document was signed, presented in Court and registered March 24, 1853.
