RANAWAY from the Subscriber living in Martin County the 3d of May, a Negro Man named Sam, or Sambay,; between 30 or 40 years old; about 5 feet 8 or 10 inches high: he is between a black and yellow complexion, thin visage and well made, his legs rather small, but pretty in proportion to his body, his nose is rather sharper than common for a negro, and uses his left hand more than the right. He carried off with him a blanket, negro cotton coat and jacket, and several other kinds of wearing apparrel, in particular a green coat: I expect he will go on board some boat and endeavour to pass for a freeman. Whoever will apprehend said negro and bring him to me or confine him in any District Gaol shall be entitled to a Reward of Twenty Pounds, and if apprehended in any other State, Thirty Pounds. S. WILLIAMS.
